DEAF Camp 2023

After 3 years of no camp because of COVID-19, the plans for our annual 2023 DEAF Camp are set! We are excited to invite you back for our 2023 DEAF Camp! Tell your friends and invite them to our annual DEAF Camp! We look forward to seeing you there.

SNEC DEAF Camp 2023 Theme: "Together in Mission" Dates: Friday, September 8th—Sunday, September 10th

Featuring Deaf Pastor Paul Kelly

Paul Kelly was born Deaf to Deaf parents in Canada. He was baptized into the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in 1977 as a student at Gallaudet University. He is married 43 years to his wife Tina who is Deaf. They have three Deaf/HoH children. Paul was a teacher for 24 years at Rochester School for the Deaf until his retirement in 2021. He now serves in Maryland as Deaf Evangelist for Three Angels Deaf Ministries and Manager of the Deaf Bible School.

Camp Location: Grotonwood Address: 167 Prescott St., Groton, MA 01450

Camp Grotonwood is 270 acres located in Groton, MA on beautiful Lost Lake. Camp guests will sleep in cabins, eat healthy vegetarian meals and enjoy Deaf-led worship services in ASL (all included). Camp activities include: boating, hiking, swimming, games, crafts and more. Deaf Christian fellowship includes meetings, Bible study, prayer times and more.

Registration: Registration forms are attached. Please print, complete and return the registration forms (including, Registration, Camp Liability Waiver, and Emergency Contact Information) for each person attending camp along with payment. Note: All (2) forms are required for each camper who will attend camp.

If you want to register, but are not able to pay the full camp fee now, we are accepting deposits. Pay what you can as a deposit or monthly. Please contact Jessica at snecdeaf@gmail.com or or call 617-934-1371(Video Phone) or 508-838-5391 (Voice) to arrange it.

Deadline:

ALL REGISTRATIONS AND CAMP FEES MUST BE RECEIVED BY AUGUST 5th. Deadline to register is Saturday, August 5th, 2023. After this deadline, a $25 late fee will be applied to regular registration cost. Camp Fees:

Camp fees include all meals, lodging & Camp Activities.

Full Camp —Friday. Sept 8 - Sunday, Sept 10th — Cost = $125

Under 4 Years old — Cost = FREE

Scholarships:

We want everyone to be able to come to 2019 DEAF Camp. We don't want worry about camp cost to stop you from coming. We have some scholarship funds available. If you need financial help, please email snecdeaf@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will work with you to make sure you can come to camp this year.

Transportation:

If you plan to take the Commuter Rail and need a ride from the train station to the camp, email snecdeaf@gmail.com by August 25th with what time you will arrive. We will pick you up from Ayer Train Station.
