On Sabbath November 12, 2022, the Southern New England Conference Youth Department hosted a special service in honor of our Active Service Personnel, First Responders and Veterans at the Clinton Spanish SDA Church.
Several persons, including nurses, firefighters, police, active-duty military officers and veterans all received recognition for their service to this country.
Captain Rohann Wellington – Chaplin in the US Airforce and also Director of Professional Development Services of the NAD delivered the charge at the event. He implored the honorees and guests to be steadfast in service despite the presence of contrary winds since God is ultimately in charge.
