Southern New England Conference (SNEC) Ministerial and Human Resources (HR) departments collaborated to organize a 2-day summit focused on pastoral finances held at Camp Winnekeag on February 4- 5, 2025.  This event was planned in response to specific needs that pastors shared in a November 2024 pastors' meeting.

Expert presenters from across the North American Division (NAD), including Edwin Romero, NAD Retirement Plans Administrator and associate treasurer; Elias Zabala, Sr., Atlantic Union CFO; and Randy Terry, Texas Conference CFO, shared details on retirement protocol for pastors, tithing, and more.

“I could sense that the conference administration really wanted to benefit the pastors, to make sure that we’re paying attention to retirement and don't get caught behind the 8-ball,” said Tom Dombrowski, SNEC pastor in central Connecticut. “I sensed from conference leadership that they care about their employees.”

Many thanks to Kenroy Malcolm, SNEC ministerial director, and Edgardo Hererra, SNEC executive secretary and HR director, and the rest of the SNEC team for organizing this important and helpful event.
